1. A quantum chip in its gold package, lid lifted.

    Vishwa Vigyan · universal science

    Science, put to work.

A chip. Our research begins at the smallest scale, with quantum devices kept colder than deep space.

  2. A model laboratory: a gold cryostat hanging in a frame, an electronics rack, and a bench with a plotted measurement.

02 · the machine around it

    A lab.

Around every chip is an instrument that someone had to build, wire and measure. We build them, and we write the code that reads them.

  3. A model hardware shop: stocked shelves, a counter, and a phone showing a quotation.

    03 · everyday work

    A shop counter.

The same skill, pointed at ordinary work: systems that write a trader’s quotation in two minutes.

  4. A model classroom: a blackboard, desks, and a telescope pointed at the sky.

    04 · the next builders

    A classroom.

What we learn, we teach. Free guidance for students who want to build things themselves.

  5. A sky full of stars, with a faint curved grid far away.

    05 · everything above

    The night sky.

Vishwa Vigyan means universal science: one line of work, from a single chip to everything above us.

  6. An illustration of curved spacetime: a glowing grid of space bent into a well, with matter scattered outward from a bright centre.

    06 · the largest scale

    The whole universe.

Big Bang Atlas is our exploration with Prof. P. Singha Deo of how the universe is modelled: the big bang, curved spacetime, and what time really is. Underneath sit the oldest questions.

The mission

10,000 students.
10,000 young people standing on their own feet.

Our first milestone is to change the lives of 10,000 of our brothers and sisters. We are at the start: today it is one person helping friends and students, and a community growing out of that. If you want to learn to build things, write to us. It is free.

Who we are

A small group that builds what it studies.

Vishwa Vigyan means universal science. We are researchers and builders, started by physicist Souvik Ghosh as an initiative of Master Within. The name comes from a science laboratory built in a Bengal village in the 1920s, at a time when the village could barely feed itself. We are trying to carry that idea forward: science, work and livelihood in one place.
